Temporary, Emergency COVID-19 Initiative

leaders2give has teamed up with the Los Barriles Food Bank (LBFB) which was formed by business & community leaders in Los Barriles, Mexico. We are helping the LBFB collect donations for the locals living there. This is a temporary, emergency initiative in response to COVID-19.

Most of the town is shut down due to the pandemic and most of the locals live paycheck to paycheck. This is a very serious situation that is developing there and, thankfully, there is a dedicated crew at ground zero to help organize this effort in partnership with The Delegacion de Los Barriles (The Mayor's Office.)

In keeping with our mission to build community leaders, we are currently in the process of identifying a local youth to liaise with LBFB to participate and act as L2G representative.

Bringing Syrian Refugees To Canada

One family has already been settled in British Columbia, Canada. The family of 5 escaped the war in Syria and lived in Iraq for 4 years dreaming of having a normal, safe life again.

Well, they are now thriving and contributing members of their new community. They are hoping to help more of their family have the same chance they now have.

They lack basic necessities like proper shelter, food, electricity, garbage collection and running water. Crime rates are high.
