Watch the video and meet some of the children at the orphanage!

New Creation Kids Video
Rob Rook was part of a group that visited the New Creation Kids Orphanage (which we support) as part of a leaders2inspire retreat.

He was so moved by our work and drawn to help that he created this short video to introduce some of the children who live there to you.

The facility's directors, Roberto and Alma, also explain their inspiration for creating this wonderful home for children whose parents are unfit or unable to care for them.

Preparatoria, or high school, is not fully-funded by the Mexican government, and tuition, transportation, and other costs are $300-$500 USD annually per child

East Cape Medical Center
Leaders2give is excited to announce that we have partnered with East Cape Health Center to help raise funds for their much needed service.

Founded in 2000, East Cape Health provides high-quality medical, dental, pediatric, optical and specialist care to those living in and visiting the East Cape in Mexico's Southern Baja region. They improve the quality of life for local families through early detection and treatment of infection and disease. They provide medical and dental care to all children under 18 at no cost to their families.

East Cape Health believes that every life has an equal value. It doesn’t matter if your family is rich or poor, privileged or not, every child should have the same opportunities for happiness and success.

The East Cape Health Center provides free medical services to all the children being served by leaders2give.

leaders2give is thrilled to be partnering with The East Cape Guild to support students and their continued learning which will create the leaders for our future.

The mission of the East Cape Guild is to provide educational benefits for the students residing in the East Cape.

Los Barriles Food Bank
leaders2give has teamed up with the Los Barriles Food Bank (LBFB) to help feed those in need in Los Barriles, Mexico and its surrounding communities. This is a community driven, temporary, emergency initiative in response to COVID-19.

Most of the town is shut down due to the pandemic and most of the locals live paycheck to paycheck. This is a very serious situation that is developing there and, thankfully, there is a dedicated crew at ground zero to help organize this effort in partnership with The Delegacion de Los Barriles (The Mayor's Office.)

In keeping with our mission to build community leaders, a local youth, selected by leaders2give, will meaningfully assist the LBFB in the collection and organization of food, in helping to identify needy recipients, and in distributing food packages to members of his or her community.

El Cardonal Children's Home Info Session
Please join me in thanking Pedro and all of the wonderful staff of La Casita Restaurant in Los Barriles for hosting and donating the food to the information luncheon held March 3rd.

A packed house enjoyed amazing food and learned about the new orphanage that we are building in El Cardonal as well as the latest updates from Cortez Rescue and East Cape Health Center.

Very special thanks to John and Laura Benward for organizing this, donating the wine and for making it all happen. What an inspiring community we live in and support!

'Party With A Purpose' Fundraiser
‘Party With a Purpose’ held on Jan. 17th, 2020, was our first fundraiser for the children's home (alburgue) that will be built in El Cardonal to give single parents a place to bring their children to be looked after while they either seek medical care needed for one of their other children or for themselves. There is a great need for this facility in BCS as many children end up being abandoned in such situations.

Are you ready? … approximately 140 people attended and the night brought in a whopping $10 000 USD! This fundraiser was the brainchild of Jeff Haycock who hosted the event so let’s all give a round of “Hip hip hooray!” to this big hearted, generous LB resident. Thanks so much, Jeff, the fireworks were amazing!

Enjoy the footage of the party which includes the story about how this initiative came into being, the totally rad fireworks, the ‘brick wall’ that everyone helped build as well as shout outs to the generous local business who donated.

New Children's home!
One of the most exciting projects we are working on is a New Children's Home in El Cardonal, BCS, Mexico.

This project was inspired by a woman who had to leave her children in the slums near San Jose airport because she had a sick child whom she needed to travel with to get care.

A site has been donated and plans have been drawn up, but much help is needed to construct the new facility which will be able to take in the children like the ones who inspired it. There is even a room in the plans for volunteers to stay!
pens4purpose
pens4purpose is a humanitarian endeavour born from the Leaders2Inspire retreat attendees in March of 2019.

Our mission is to improve the lives of children living at the New Creation Kids Orphanage in La Paz, Mexico through the sale of their handmade wooden pens. This program helps to fund the day to day operational expenses at the orphanage as well as giving older children hands-on woodworking training for future employment.

One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to help with education, nutritious food, utilities, safe shelter, and medical access which contributes to their self sufficiency. Each pen is forged onsite using both local and imported wood and donated machinery.

pens4purpose is passionately dedicated to improving the lives of children through organized community volunteers, retail merchandising, and beyond.

Rotary Interact Kids
In partnership with the Rotary Club of Los Barriles, MX, leaders2give helped raise funds to send 9 students on a leadership retreat organized by leaders2inspire.

They were hand selected for achieving excellent grades, helping with household responsibilities, volunteering, etc.

They enjoyed a 6 day guided kayaking/camping adventure in British Columbia learning leadership skills, improving their English and experiencing Canadian and First Nations culture. These future leaders took this valuable experience back to their community.
Hurricane Odile Rebuild
Hurricane Odile hit La Paz, Mexico hard in 2014 and much of the New Creation Kids orphanage was destroyed.

leaders2inspire President, Adam Greenberg, jumped into action and raised nearly $40 000 to help rebuild the buildings which were destroyed, buy all new mattress and windows for the dorms and more.
Bikes For Orphans
The first major fundraiser leaders2inspire President, Adam Greenberg, undertook, was to get bikes for all the children at the New Creation Kids orphanage.

This endeavor was inspired by a corporate sales kick-off he attended with his company, believe it or not, and started him on a life of humantarianism.

Watch the following video in which Adam tells his story Click here for video
