Ian Gibson

Ian is a retired Information Technology consultant. He started his career in a small Financial Consulting / Tax Preparation company and throughout the next 30+ years he helped bring technology solutions to business challenges. He worked in various sized companies from a small local veterinarian’s office to Fortune 500 companies such as Gillette / Procter & Gamble, in a variety of industries, such as Biotech and Warehouse & Delivery Logistics. He wrapped up his paid career with 10 years as the Chief Information Officer for an Office Supply company, W.B. Mason. 

The transition from paid career to volunteer started when he retired and moved to Los Barriles, BCS Mexico and joined the local Rotary Club.  Here he:  Co-Chaired Lord of the Wind 2015, 16, & 17;  Co-Chaired Taste of East Cape 2016, 17, 19;  serves on the East Cape Health Center Board of Advisors, as President;  and serves on the Leadership Team for the Los Barriles Food Bank.

Most importantly, Ian is married to a wonderfully supportive wife, Lisa and is proud father of Ross and Cailey.
